We’re lucky enough to be practically across the road from the Wales Coastal Path. Being the first country in the world to have a footpath that explores the entire coast (all 870 miles of it!) is something we’re very proud of. Take your time and explore the wonders that the coast has to offer, from local wildlife & incredible views to hidden statues & secret hideaways.

Originally built to trade the copper goods made in the Greenfield Valley with Liverpool and Africa, Greenfield Docks is now a serene and picturesque harbour on the River Dee. Restored in 2010 and still used by local fishermen, the dock can be used to explore the rest of the Wales Coastal Path.
Used for centuries as a stop over to Holyhead, Holywell has many amenities to offer, with a variety of shops offering local goods, supermarket, Library and Leisure Centre, as well as special event days. Why not try the town heritage trail to help you explore the Town and surrounding areas. Beginning in the high street, the trail leads you through the Greenfield Valley, then joins the ancient pilgrim’s trail to St Winefride’s Well and Basingwerk Abbey taking in rich wildlife and lovely views along the way.
