Coach Parking and Accessibility

The site offers coach drop off points and visitor facilities suitable for group travel. Accessible toilets are available, and most museum buildings are accessible on the ground floor for wheelchair users and visitors with limited mobility. Please note that some historic buildings have stairs and limited access to upper floors.

Our on-site café provides a welcoming place for groups to relax and enjoy refreshments. Pre-booked refreshment packages may be available for coach groups, making your visit even easier to organise. We would like to offer a complimentary meal and drink for the driver of groups of 10+

Opening Times

The Visitor Centre and Museum are generally open from 10:00am to 4:30pm during the main visitor season, with opening periods varying throughout the year. Group organisers are encouraged to check current opening dates when booking.
