Our mission is to ‘celebrate, protect and enhance the Greenfield Valley, its environment, history, heritage, and collections, for present and future generations.’
We think we should: ‘Secure long-term economic sustainability for the Valley whilst ensuring that we are an effective charity delivering our charitable aims through efficient strategic management.’
We have responsibilities as a charity and a business in Wales:
As a charity…to maintain our historic sites and objects and abide by charity commission rules
As the provider of management service to Flintshire County Council …to look to the future and to balance demands and resources
As the guardian of a public site in Wales …to consider Welsh legislation
We want people to see and enjoy all of the Valley – the thrilling bits, the calm bits and the historic bits. We are therefore suggesting ‘Valley Zones’ to highlight all the different areas of the Valley.
If you have thoughts and ideas about the future of the Valley that are not covered on the other ‘The Future’ website pages and their questions, then please email us and let us know. We would love to hear from you.
