Visitor Information

With it’s abundance of historical buildings, playgrounds for all ages & full calendar of activities and events, it’s the perfect day out for all the family.

Greenfield Valley Heritage Park is free to explore. The only part of the valley that requires an entry ticket is the Museum and Play Areas.

Our open dates for 2026:
Feb Half Term: Sat 14th – Sun 22nd
March: Weekends Only
7 days a week: Sat 28th March – Sun 1st Nov

Open 10am – 4.30pm

CLOSED – Thurs 28th May (Private Group) & Thurs 29th Oct (Halloween Event)

Plan your Visit to Greenfield Valley

Accessibility 

The museum buildings, with the exception of Pentre the Tudor Farm house, are accessible on the ground floor for buggies and wheelchairs.  There are narrow steps up to the first floor in both the farm house buildings for more detail see our access statement here.

Dogs 

Dogs are welcome (except in the play area)…  we just ask you to keep them on a lead!

Toilets

Toilets can be found in the Visitor Centre. Hand washing stations are available at the side of the Visitor Centre.

Cafe Greenfield Valley

Café

The Tearoom can be found opposite the Visitor Centre and is the perfect place to refuel with food, cakes and drinks.

Greenfield Valley Museum Gift Shop

Gift shop

A wide range of gifts, from the unique and hand-made to fun bits for the kids, are on sale in the gift shop. You can also grab a quick snack here with a selection of drinks, sweets and chocolates available.
