About Greenfield Valley
Welcome to North Wales best representation of the Industrial Revolution. We have brought the past back to the future and present the old world for you to experience. We are the most comprehensive museum devoted to the Industrial Revolution in North Wales. We tell stories of factory work men, women and children who gave their lives to make way for our modern way of life.
The Museum depicts powerful history through the ages about the local farming and milling communities dating as far back as Victorian and Tudor times. We focus on cotton, copper and brass trading industries and what it was like to work in these poor conditions.
The Park is not just a museum but an events stage too as weekly we have Children's activities to attend, mainly through the school holidays and always at weekends. You can find out below 'what’s on' by scrolling down the page.
The park is a great place for children to spend the whole day. They are guaranteed to have a blast, with so many things to do and see such as the Toddler Tractor Heaven, the Indoor Soft Play Area, our Mega Tower Maze, the big Adventure Tree House, swings, the Water Power and not forgetting our newest attraction the Tunnel Maze, we do hope you can join us soon.

“Brilliant day out with grandchildren" My grandchildren aged 4 & 7 loved this place as there was plenty to do. There favourite things were the maze, treehouse play area, the museums and seeing the animals. The staff are all very friendly, knowledgable and helpful. My husband and I are looking forward to visiting without the grandkids as there seems to be some very nice walks which we didn't manage to do as we couldn't get away from the play areas!!!!

Step back in time to Britain during WW2 on the Homefront. Become a member of the Home Guard, make your own WW2 craft and see how life was like during the second world war.
Saturday 30th, 1.30pm-3.30pm, Drop in: Weird and Wonderful Creatures
Discover all creatures Weird and Wonderful! The North Wales reptiles and raptors Sanctuary will be at Greenfield Valley with the amazing creatures they have rescued.
Sunday 1st, 10.30 – 2.00pm to 3.30pm, Drop in: Victorian Day
Find out what life was like for the Victorians. Come to our school room and meet Mrs Parry. Make your own Victorian Toys and play Victorian Games. Explore our museum and discover the tales of the children who worked in the factories in Greenfield. Visit our steam bottling plant and learn all about the factory work here in the valley.

Celebrate this years Big Draw Theme. Living Lines and create your own shadow puppet characters with Steve Sharples and put on a show to impress.

The North Wales Raptor and Reptile Sanctuary will be here with creatures they have rescued. Come and discover what they have brought with them.
Saturday 21st, 1.30 pm to 3.00pm, Drop in: Fossil Making
Wales was once full of Volcanoes and once erupted made creates into Fossils. Come and make your own Fossil (without the need of Volcanoes) to take home.

Join artist Juliet to celebrate The Big Draw, Make your own moving images inspired by the Victorians.
Monday 30th Ring for times: Pumpkin Playtime
Back by popular demand we have Halloween Pumpkin crafting. Bring your own Pumpkin and carve out your very own creation. Booking only for this event and available for pass holders are served first if booked with a £5 returnable deposit. 8 Slots for pumpkin carving get yourself on the list.
Tuesday 31st 2pm – 50 Minutes Long: Rumpelstiltskin
An enchanting, colourful production adapted from the original tale by the Brothers Grimm. With specially composed music and beautiful carved hand, rod and shadow puppets. Not to be missed.
